About Sunday Photographer

Hi, I’m Alina — founder of Sunday Photographer. For the past 10 years, I’ve worked as a documentary photographer, capturing real, unscripted moments. But everything shifted when I became an aunt. Watching the little everyday moments unfold — the quiet cuddles, the bursts of laughter, the tired but beautiful chaos — made me realise how much I wanted to bring that same honest, documentary approach to photographing babies and families.

The name Sunday Photographer was inspired by those slow, meaningful Sundays that so often bring families together — unhurried, real, and full of heart. I just made this website and it's still in process, but it's something for the start. ;)

My exploration in the design field, along with my passions for cooking and capturing the fleeting moments of life, has significantly molded my creative outlook. The essence of design, much like photography, lies in capturing the spirit of the moment, but it extends into the realms of creating experiences, environments, and interactions that resonate deeply with people.
In this fusion of design, cooking, and nature photography, I strive to tell stories that echo with truth and heart. It's about creating moments that linger in memory, fostering connections, and celebrating the beauty of the natural world.

I’ve always been drawn to stillness — to quiet moments that pass quickly but say so much. Photography became a way for me to hold onto those fleeting feelings, especially the ones that happen in everyday life.

What began as a curiosity turned into a way of seeing the world. Over time, I found myself especially moved by family moments — the real, unfiltered ones.

I don’t ask you to pose much. I won’t direct every moment. Instead, I’m there to notice — to witness the little things that make your family yours.

My approach is gentle, natural, and calm. I believe the best images happen when you’re not performing, when you're just being together.
